Speaker: Thomas Pablo, CFP®

Sitting through Continuing Education doesn’t have to be dry! It can be enjoyable when you learn it, instead of just memorizing it. Thomas helps you understand the material by taking complex ideas and breaking them down into simple concepts using everyday examples. The secret to a good classroom experience is being charismatic and entertaining all while staying on point.

Over a 30-year career in financial and tech services, Thomas has lived through the market cycles and has seen its impact on clients and advisors alike. This gives him a tether to reality when teaching academic concepts to students. It also makes for a lively discussion.

Thomas began his career in the financial services industry in 1993 and worked for Merrill Lynch beginning in 2004. In 2011, Thomas fused his tech background, his MBA, and his CFP® credential to help build a financial planning-based RIA. Thomas has been working closely with clients to help them reach their most cherished goals ever since.

In 2019, Thomas began teaching alongside his dear friend Brett Danko. Since then, he has worked with Brett helping thousands of students pass the CFP® exam and obtain continuing education in CE programs across the country.

Thomas is also a guest lecturer for The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. Thomas has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and received his MBA from Georgetown University with the highest honors (Beta Gamma Sigma).
