Rewirement: Managing Emotions and Retirement Income in 2022
with Jamie Hopkins, ESQ, MBA, CFP®, LLM, CLU®, ChFC®, RICP®, Carson Coaching
Almost every year I say, “No one saw that coming.” The world, market, and future are filled with uncertainty. This uncertainty plays a huge role in our behavior and decision making. Fear, joy, and our past experiences can also be a major driver in our lives and directly impact our financial future.
While you cannot remove emotions from our financial planning, we can become better students of how and why we make decisions. With more knowledge around our behavioral biases and tendencies we can put in systems and processes to help provide structure to make more informed decisions. This presentation reviews behavioral finance and specifically looks at how it impacts not just our financial future but our retirement income planning.
- Understand the behavioral biases and psychological hurdles
- Utilizing best practices of behavioral finance to improve client outcomes
- Review how to move a client from an accumulation mindset to a distribution mindset.
The program starts with a New Member Orientation at 11:15. Networking starts at 11:30, and lunch starts at noon or a few minutes before. Attend in person or by Zoom.
